Linzi & Mark

Linzi:

Welcome to episode 10 of the Suite Natured Cruise Cast. Hi, I'm Linz, a as always I am joined by Marky, Hello, Hello. And today we're talking about when your cruise is not as you expected. But first a little news music.

Mark:

What did you think of today's music for the intro?

Linzi:

Love it, Oh, I mean, it is 30 degrees outside. What is that in Old Money? I?

Mark:

don't know.

Linzi:

I think it's about 70-odd Wow.

Mark:

Your conversion of Celsius to Fahrenheit is fantastic.

Linzi:

You double it and I'm 30, so that's about 70 off.

Mark:

I'm not sure, people will direct you in the comments. They will.

Linzi:

And that's what we love about the internet that you can always be corrected in time.

Mark:

Is that better than me correcting you here now?

Linzi:

I mean I take joy when I'm right.

Mark:

I don't think you'd rather start. Okay, please leave us your thoughts in the comments. I'm bought for 30 degrees Celsius.

Linzi:

In Fahrenheit In all of you.

Mark:

So today's topic is nothing to do with temperatures, Although you can have temperatures on Monday. The temperatures come into this as well Is when you produce. Is not what you expected and this is your topic of? Is not what you expected?

Linzi:

Yes, and this is your topic of discussion. It is Because of a recent cruise.

Mark:

Okay, we'll come to that one shot. So just want to clarify is it your topic of conversation?

Linzi:

No, no, I mean, I'm joking with you, yeah.

Mark:

Can this be whether it can be good not what you expected or bad, what you know you expected. We're not just talking that.

Linzi:

Oh no, it can be good and bad.

Mark:

Okay.

Linzi:

Good and bad. Good and bad.

Mark:

How do you want to start this off then?

Linzi:

Well, we've just recently returned from Alaska, from an Alaskan creek.

Mark:

Yeah, for four weeks You've got the, and when we booked it, I was not emotionally prepared for what I had to endure.

Linzi:

You weren't emotionally prepared. No, how could you even get that out then? No, because it was a bucket list cruise. It was. I didn't realise I'd want to throw myself into the water as part of the Like. It was just, it was very emotional.

Mark:

And just to be clear, we're not recommending you throw yourself in the water in the last bit.

Linzi:

The water was cold.

Mark:

Was that, because of the colour of the water, the animals in the water? We haven't talked about this.

Linzi:

This is why we do it like this. It was very emotional.

Mark:

You've already said that. I feel you need to clarify that more.

Linzi:

I didn't expect it to be as emotional.

Mark:

Just keep spinning the word emotional no.

Linzi:

I mean the sunsets, the sun rays of the Blueberry meeting.

Mark:

It doesn't look like it's your first race.

Linzi:

No, oh, I mean the sunsets the sun rays of the Blue Barrier Reef. This isn't like it's your first cruise. No what. I thought I was like meh, my thoughts are so bad.

Mark:

Meh, what else? We should have a West Island teacher editing that talk. So am I.

Linzi:

What I thought.

Mark:

Going to meh Wales.

Linzi:

Oh, it's like that's interesting, what I thought the cruise would be like, I didn't realise it would have. I would be so emotionally barrier-less on the cruise. Okay, and people need to know this People need to know that they're going to need tissues.

Mark:

What's right?

Linzi:

I mean, hey, that morning I got up at 3.30.

Mark:

No, it was 2.15. 3.15. I then woke up and you were standing over the balcony staring out at 3.15. You were going like look at this.

Linzi:

It was fire in the sky, the mountains. It's well actually a screenshot on my phone.

Mark:

It's on mine as well.

Linzi:

Yeah, but it's from the back of my head and I'm going to say mine's on my phone. Yeah, you've got it, I'm live on Facebook. No, mine is beautiful, it's beautiful, and I stood on that balcony. I'm not going to repeat what I thought. I'm going to get inside. Wow, a swearing version of wow.

Mark:

So, on this particular one, what we're talking about there is more the destination as opposed to the cruise itself, so it wasn't anything to do with the ship. You could have been on any ship and you'd have felt the same.

Linzi:

But it was still a cruise.

Mark:

No, no, but it was got to do with the ship. You could have been on the what the ship, but it was still a cruise. No, no, but it was got to do with the ship. You've given in on. You've given in on Holland America, princess Cunard Viking, you've still got that same.

Linzi:

I told you about the sunset.

Mark:

Well, it's just the same that you go to a town.

Linzi:

Honestly, it was stunning. It was stunning.

Mark:

I just felt my hand was in the sunset.

Linzi:

No, I wept a little tear.

Mark:

I may have been dark with the alcohol.

Linzi:

I told him it was all very obvious.

Mark:

Well, let's move on from the emotional.

Linzi:

So to prepare yourself if you're going to Alaska. It's not meh.

Mark:

Wales. I go to Moffat. They were meh Wales. When the Wales came up right on the side of us, people were struggling. I looked over.

Linzi:

I didn't even have a bra on.

Mark:

I don't think that put the whales off.

Linzi:

I thought I could know I was. I was sat eating cheesy chip drinking a 24 hour margarita. Quickly, I like to do it 2 o'clock in the afternoon with an over-air on and on my balcony, and they came right at me, they literally came up. Oh my God, Again Tears.

Mark:

No, that bit I can pull it out. Do you get the sunset? I mean, I get the sunset. I've taken some beautiful sunset pictures of the years and that one's on my phone at the moment.

Linzi:

How specific, but how can they be?

Mark:

Yeah, for anyone who didn't hear what I said, I watched the video last year. You better see a reminder. Okay, well, let's question that one a little bit then, as we're not just talking about how high was my rate One for me. We've kind of touched on these in other ones as well, when it's not what you're expecting, but for me it was first time wearing a jean now.

Linzi:

Oh yeah.

Mark:

Because, oh yes you've been tired of it for two or three years. She really liked that dressing up. I loved it, and it's not that I feel like I'm pressed to go. I enjoy going on a date night type thing? Yeah, but you don't want to be in a suit and things Got attacked. No.

Linzi:

I mean, you'd look a bit of a dick if you did. I mean, fair enough. You know. Coming back to my point, Sorry, sorry.

Mark:

You're making me all emotional.

Linzi:

What were we drinking?

Mark:

We were drinking vodka and orange with a splash of bimidine just to change the colour, and so on, and so it's now looking of blood on the drink.

Linzi:

Oh, it's good.

Mark:

When we went and cured her for the first time I very much had that expectation that it was going to be lovely stuffer.

Linzi:

Yes, he did.

Mark:

And I've turned back. It's the first time that we've been going to a cruise journal and I've not been that excited about being on the cruise, Really. Yeah, I felt more trepidatious about it. Okay, we've got some info for you. It was on the total, really. Okay, we've got some implementations for you. It was on the toilet, wasn't it? But it was because I'm really. I haven't seen so many pictures and so many videos over the years. I'm so good at installing stuff like that and I haven't seen all those. No, it's really all that.

Linzi:

Can I just interject? Can you please turn that light towards the wall.

Mark:

Because can you please turn that white towards the wall? Because You're not making a difference?

Linzi:

No, because I'm like, I'm dazzled in my glasses. Okay, I just finished work and I just got home.

Mark:

Yeah, thank you, is that better?

Linzi:

Yes.

Mark:

Back to QNAT.

Linzi:

Back to QNAT. Sorry, back to QNAT.

Mark:

So, yeah, when we go on and when you get on, no, actually, my opinion on it has changed massively. I know I fell over and saw a couple of cruisers. We're up with them now, yeah, but when you get on, you've got them in their very traditional uniform. As you get on, yes, with the white gloves In red, in red, and there are other cruise lines that do a big welcome. This difference is where you are. I'll answer you then, or it certainly used to be. Well, that makes it a bit more beautiful. Look at this there's lunches upstairs to you back in class.

Mark:

Oh yeah, and as I close, all my fears are going to become true. Yeah, this is just me. And then we'd been on the ship for about 10 minutes and my opinion, 180. Fear yeah, because I quickly saw all the people on there. Yes, so you're not seeing as many when you get on.

Linzi:

Are you high-key ones?

Mark:

Yeah, I mean they're totally human people. Okay, I don't know what other sort of people use that, but yeah, because you only walk in the end a few when you get in one.

Linzi:

Yeah.

Mark:

And is it the demographic that I expected? You walk in. After 10 minutes you say, right, there's all age demographics, Everyone's dressed normally.

Linzi:

There was a person with a briefcase.

Mark:

Someone did walk in with a briefcase and a three-piece suit.

Linzi:

Three pieces and all that, oh my good grief yeah I am no, but I don't know why that was what but we've seen people get on in a cape though whatever is your fanciest you want to get on with.

Mark:

Yeah, you do you yeah, you do you um, but the service on there were fantastic, the food and fantastic, and I can only absolutely love it. Yeah, you know, we followed up queen elizabeth with queen mary too. I had a little bit of concerns about that, but a lot less so, and within seconds of being on board, I'm like no, it's great. So, yeah, yeah, so all those shoots I I'm thinking about that as well and thinking about you. Then, okay, what's your next thing when you cruise to start what you expect to do.

Linzi:

Well, I was very stupid.

Mark:

No.

Linzi:

Oh, ding, dong dings. I think that might be my answer. Are you leaving me to talk? Okay, I'll do that. I think that might be my answer.

Mark:

Are you leaving me to talk?

Linzi:

Okay, I'll do that, I'll just be quiet. I think it's my Amazon show. So we've moved. As you can see, this is the lounge. It's not all set up yet. It's getting there and oh the meaning again is gone and Got lovely fitted wardrobes. But I need some little baskets Similar deal to what P&O do actually To put in the wardrobe, to put some small things in. So that's what I'm having to do right now. Hopefully that's what it is. Unless Marsha's out with something else, I won't be surprised. You are the star stuff. I'm very enthusiastic. Let's see. Let's see what it is. Sounds like it could be my baskets.

Mark:

The legionary one said yeah, I feel that you can keep that here. Let's see. Let's see what it is. It sounds like it could be my baskets. Did we get a ribbon set?

Linzi:

Yeah, I feel that you can keep that here. It's absolutely gorgeous.

Mark:

It's glass. Well, I've no idea what you're saying, so I won't be.

Linzi:

Well, there's something about the house here.

Mark:

Okay, I'm going to do stuff to do with that. Sam, what were you saying just before we got the dommer?

Linzi:

No idea. This is why we shouldn't do it after work. I want something about something about QNAT. It was me, we got to me, it was all about me. Oh, I don't see what's. I don't see what's, I don't see what's. I kidded myself when we went to the Norwegian fjords in August that the weather it'd be fabulous and I'd need all the shorts and it wouldn't be foggy. I don't know why I kidded myself.

Mark:

We have the one time at at Fjords. We did have foggy days, but we also had beautiful ones while we were in the slum. No more than one.

Linzi:

Keddy, tunis. That's fishing, but yet again, it wasn't as I expected, because what happens is it doesn't matter how many YouTube videos you watch and how many podcasts you listen to, it's your cruise is always very personal to you, yeah. So what we try and do is, when we have a cruise, is say this thing happening to us, it could happen to, this is how you avoid it.

Mark:

Yeah.

Linzi:

I can't do it, knock all. I can't put my back in.

Mark:

No, but you can warn people, I mean, the first one that we touched on today was Alaska. Who wrote Alaska being a rainforest, it rains a lot, but the reality on that we only have one part where we end no there were two parts. No, there was one part where we end. Do you know, do you? No, there were two pubs. No, there was one pub where we had tuna, tuna, and I'm just doing that. Maybe it's not the Skagway, skagway. We ended up getting Sunburn.

Linzi:

No, it wasn't Skagway, it was Glacier Blooming Avenue, whatever it's called In the club.

Mark:

So anyway, Going back to what you were saying on that, I don't think it was in the rule of law because we went with various layers, default from forward. But we did a hacking video of how we'd lay it up, but you still had it in your head that it wouldn't be just at the time you were oh, it's a holocaust that it wouldn't be as fully aware as it was at other times. But each of the ports we went to were a few hours, it didn't matter. Yeah, A bit of fog when we went up the sky lift at Holden, but that saved us as we came around.

Linzi:

Yeah.

Mark:

But Stavanger and everyone else were in there. Not fun, we're self-affirming so.

Linzi:

One day, one day, I'll get to fly.

Mark:

You'll get there eventually. But yeah, I get the sort of the weather travel ways, but for me that doesn't really affect it that much. I don't know your point, so it's like Another one where it's not what you expected. Yeah, and it's not that this one wasn't what I expected. It was my opinion on that. You'll see in a second.

Linzi:

Okay so.

Mark:

Virgin 4 inches. Oh yes, when we went on Virgin, we obviously watched a lot of YouTube videos from when Virgin did their Crest cruises before the pandemic hit, yeah. And then there was obviously a clear design where there were no cruises. So there were no proper passenger cruises, more of the medium ones, just a medium for it. So we'd seen other people, we'd seen that kind of sign. We knew that we wanted to try it, but we had this expectation because of how they'd marketed it.

Linzi:

We were going to be too old.

Mark:

We would definitely be one of the oldest. They'd be like a Nine Club or a Beach Party In Ibiza. So the acts of.

Linzi:

It was very Ibiza.

Mark:

But we just wouldn't Like. The 1830s Were very Ibiza, you know Calvin Harris, concert in Ibiza. I think they'd probably call it year of Ibiza, not the, you know, calvin Harris concert in Ibiza type thing.

Linzi:

I think they're trying to call you Nikki Beach.

Mark:

Well, I'm just.

Linzi:

Oh, the one where they filmed.

Mark:

And it's known by itself Calvin Harris film.

Linzi:

Because I watched a video and now you wear a Calvin Harris face.

Mark:

No, it was the one that came to mind because you showed me the whole thing.

Linzi:

It wasn't, it was the one that came to mind because she showed me the whole thing.

Mark:

It wasn't, it was in Miami. Oh, okay, but in Miami.

Linzi:

Yeah, kind of beach club yeah.

Mark:

So anyway, back to that. So my expectation was that we knew kind of all shit but we watched all the videos. We heard about the food. But if we said it to a degree, I think the food was a surprise.

Linzi:

The food is not as it once was.

Mark:

Well, the food is amazing, but it was the end of the hall, that wasn't the crowd.

Linzi:

No.

Mark:

We were just wrapped for a time of regard and we were only a month off going on, two months off going on our fourth Virgin cruise and each time it's been kind of the same demographic, it's been the same vibe, and none of that was what I was expecting. But it ended up really well because we absolutely loved going on those trips, because the staff really get to be themselves a lot more, I feel, than some of the cruise lines where the train to be in a certain way. I feel that they get to be themselves a lot more, I feel, than some of the cruise lines where they're trained to be in a certain way, whereas I feel that the expense comes out to you when you're in there.

Mark:

Well, we touched on virgin with food there yeah but have you got a food or a service or what somebody expects on a cruise ship? Yes, I do. Well, that's a bit food or a service or what somebody expects on a cruise ship. Yes, I do. Well, that's a myth. We've never got told about that.

Linzi:

No, and I didn't realise the Yacht Club would be as fabulous as it was. I thought it would just be like a nice, nice kind of lift, but not. I liked Yacht Club a lot more than I expected to like.

Mark:

Craig is one of the fans who said he loved York Club a lot more than he expected to like York Club.

Linzi:

He didn't like the Lyft, and I'm a Lyft fan.

Mark:

You never liked the book, and ten minutes before you got home we were at the recording studio. What were we meant to do with the book?

Linzi:

I didn't use it in abusingusing book no.

Mark:

I'm not suggesting you did, but you got very used to having that sort of chauffeured escort. I don't think I ran the ship.

Linzi:

I want to put that down to a past life.

Mark:

From when you were in your sort of cricket and valentine's out there.

Linzi:

No, when I was, when I was like queen of the universe, I reckon you were queen of the universe. I feel this has hit hard to do with this content. I'm giving my delusions.

Mark:

Well, yeah, I'm with you on that. What people think of MSC? It's not in the most highly rated generally speaking, generally speaking.

Linzi:

No, I mean. What's it what, jim Grayson? I mean his cruise, and he's having a nightmare.

Mark:

Yeah, that's not a particularly good example of MSC, but he's not in your club, no, and I think that when you sort of get that sort of shift into it, and Jamie recently got a chance to go in there as well, and again. So how fantastic. Even Ben and David, we're loving it, we're loving it, but I'm sure we'll see all sorts of them at York soon. Yeah, but it's just one of those exteriors where he just surpassed every expectation of.

Linzi:

God, can we talk about that lemon meringue pie that just appeared in the room?

Mark:

What do you want to talk about?

Linzi:

So there was this magical lemon meringue pie that just appeared in the room and we I was getting my day in my getting ready cupboard. I knew I was getting ready in my getting ready cupboard. I knew what I.

Mark:

I knew you were getting ready cupboard. I sound like Harry Potter. Oh, I see. I was getting ready cupboard.

Linzi:

I was getting ready in the getting ready cupboard.

Mark:

I'm asking you to send me a getting ready cupboard and then I'll take the door.

Linzi:

I thought it was the getting ready for the holiday.

Mark:

I don't remember it enough. I just remember the lemon wine.

Linzi:

Not evening, I was going to say evening.

Mark:

Oh yeah, but I don't remember for what.

Linzi:

And then, as part of your club, you get little treats left in the room. Yeah, and on this particular day we had a lemon meringue pie left. It just magically appeared it was a fritter.

Mark:

We had a little meringue pie left that just magically appeared A fritter. I'm terrible with names, I remember, but he was eating such a delicious chocolate pie. I'm a fritter. He's gentle, not from the door.

Linzi:

And so you were in the shower. Yes, I came and just left it and it was there and it was warm.

Mark:

Well, I was in the downstairs shower because this was the 2-4-2 place, because we're not fancy. So you were upstairs in the cupboard. You're not weird. I was downstairs in the shower and I walked out and I'm like when's we've had our delivery?

Linzi:

We came down and I think you will agree we hoovered up that lemon around the top.

Mark:

It wasn't massive, was it? Six inches across? That's my new lens. I can't, I can't, either way.

Linzi:

It was quite a hefty lemon running by.

Mark:

We were like we'll just have a slice of it. So we cut it in half, didn't we? And then in half again. So yeah, it's a decent chunk, but not as big.

Linzi:

All right, okay, this is maths. Oh, there's some famous maths 30 degrees, oh no.

Mark:

But yeah, we read this sort of first slide and we just literally I mean you described it as Googling it up earlier, that's possibly the best use of that term we put it near his mouth and we're like I don't think we need the noise. Oh, I think the noise was needed for them. I could not move. I could move, but that one's not true.

Linzi:

Don't do that again. Then what do I say? Don't do it.

Mark:

It's a ruining my experience.

Linzi:

It is ruining my experience. It's ruining my whole experience.

Mark:

So you enjoyed that one. It's best for you.

Linzi:

In conclusion yes, Again, it was unexpected. I didn't realise I'd be so much into my Huddlers. Huddlers who deliver.

Mark:

Well, I mean, that's the perfect one. I feel that Damsnutter was missing.

Linzi:

Oh, and then when he brought his pizzas, when we ordered pizzas and he brought his pizzas, and they were fresh and nice. Oh yeah, I mean, if you order a pizza at the buffet and then I say it's pretty good, it tastes even better when you order it and then you're butler, it's in the living room.

Mark:

In a box.

Linzi:

In a box and then you sit in a hot tub cooking pizza.

Mark:

No, I don't think that we didn't sit in the hot tub and eat the pizza. We ate the pizza. Where were we going?

Linzi:

Where were we Bit different?

Mark:

I think you're remembering something from earlier. We were not on the edge of a pizza hot tub. We ate the hot tub inside and I'll only say a couple of things because I've found it in some of the videos.

Linzi:

Either way, I've banned it all together now personally.

Mark:

Yeah, it already fucked on the hot, but yeah, msc Yacht Club. I mean, honestly, we didn't know which you were, mate, and if you never say that, do go back and watch it, because we know a lot of people have tried MSC Yacht Club and they've put a price on that it seems to have settled again a little bit. I was looking at the theories where I wasn't quite as high here, but yeah, that's a big way one for lucky. What about destinations? So we've touched on that for the fjords.

Linzi:

I guess, I guess. I can talk about something else if you don't want to for your destination. I guess when you're going to a lot of European paths, you imagine that you're tangerine it'll be like Santorini or that you're pulling to this pretty town. Yes, very glamorous but it's not as good.

Mark:

No, I think, because really probably the first I mean the first six or seven cruises that we did were all Caribbean. They were all Caribbean. We didn't go to Europe until that.

Linzi:

No, I did all the few more. Yeah, but I didn't do it no, and did Home with you, Mum. Yeah, but I didn't do it. No, and that's when I discovered it.

Mark:

My experience of going to the courts were the charity courts, from which I don't ever recall going into a public charity court or like a plenary fairs at an industrial.

Linzi:

That's the word.

Mark:

You're sometimes cruised past down to the 7th and 8th floor when you're going to the port. Yeah, or the power station yeah but the ports themselves are a terminal station. Great Glamorous city, yeah, club Tropicana, duran Duran style locations Also Duran Duran, it's on the living room table.

Linzi:

Jesus, it's real.

Mark:

That's not a tower, is it Move it up? That's not Torrina Moving on. But you know, visually you have, when you see They've been Sold in London and that that were our First experiences. When you then Go suddenly To Northern Europe, yeah, turning the Meds different, yeah, you've got Places like Um Marseille. Marseille is a whole, it's quite, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's. France will have.

Linzi:

Yeah, get Raleigh down Get.

Mark:

Raleigh down, or you get through the post and you get into the towns and they're often very nice, so you know it's gone, as though what you expect, because those are not the posts that they show in the brochures.

Linzi:

No, they're not.

Mark:

They're not on the website, the monks from France. Yeah, anyway, is there anything else, given that you brought up the topic?

Linzi:

no, I think basically, you just need to be open to anything and enjoy the music experience.

Mark:

I think I said that occasionally, when you're on a cruise, things are not going to drive you expected in a good or bad way, because things are not going to go as expected in a good old one. But he's still on the cruise, that's true, and there's always a bar that serves cocktails somewhere. Oh, yes, and all that note. Shall we do some news songs, okay, okay. So news story number one Okay, it involves Horned Riker. All right, we killed the cruise on, yes, but not At the time of the drive. No Soon, and they've announced a special collaboration with Lynn.

Linzi:

Lynn Okay.

Mark:

We've got a number of our family members.

Linzi:

Yeah, and I'm not like a Lynn today.

Mark:

You do actually sound a little like a Lynn and a lovely chocolate and chocolate. A little Lynn doll, a little I playor, a little Lindor. I played that little Lindor so to create crafty experiences on board. I love it. Now, according to the press release that I saw, they're going to do Dala Nights yeah, but only Dala Nights. Definitely going to be greeted by what they're passing as a sweet dreams front-end service. I love't know. That's nice.

Mark:

It's maybe not my solo what we're going to do, but what will happen is you'll get either a Lindor, a Lindsay Lindor, a chocolate truffle or a salted sea salt milk chocolate truffle on your go. That's key. Oh, now I'm in South, you can just go after. That's cute. Now I'm insulted. You can just go after it. That's one thing. But we're also going to be doing chocolate desserts, including a special tulip shape, one Tulip Tulip, oh yeah which is a chocolate mousse cake using Lindt chocolate. Now, I'm not a massive chocolate fan, but I do like a Lindor footloaf and a Lindor. That's delicious. So that's trying to cross the fleet from August to Shredder. And they're also doing a special Lindor Sunday as well. So we'll see you tonight.

Linzi:

Bye. Bye, my hair fish must get getting Serpon made books today, okay, so we'll see you tomorrow. Bye, my hairfish must get getting.

Mark:

Serpon just invests, serpon just invests. We'll do this in-depth news analysis and a little Okay News story two. We can't have a news story group without there being something about Princess in there at the moment.

Linzi:

Yeah.

Mark:

I actually went half of our podcast so far featuring princess stories.

Linzi:

I don't know.

Mark:

Thank you to Princess D for keeping us on the stories, but they just announced a special VIP package.

Linzi:

Ooh.

Mark:

You went too early with you. I'm feeling now, but let's see, okay For the Love Boat Cruise. Okay, which is on Enchant the Princess on the 31st of August. Okay, so they're doing a themed cruise on there. I've got two parts to this, which is what the idea is. So it gives you, from Hawaiian access, a unique cocktail pattern with a cast, cast, cast, cast of Love Boat which will cast. Yeah.

Linzi:

Those will always start to sell with us. Cast of.

Mark:

Bulba, the tomorrow, the actual cast. Yeah, those were the way it started. So were those. Well, we're getting out the sailing them out.

Linzi:

Oh sorry, I'm sorry.

Mark:

So those who were cast were still with us.

Linzi:

Yeah, they're on there.

Mark:

You're also part of that VIP one. There's obviously very limited sponsors to show us that they're talented in the cast, which is my thing. All my scriptures are another bit of something different from that which. That in itself, I think when you go through solving that VIP bit, they're not incestual yet. But what I'm curious about is whether there should still them down with a lookbook on Princess and I'm just going to be off on this Pretty much 40 years after it finished. It's the idea of the Ream Hunt film first in the 1980s. We do have friends who are not massive fans of the lookbook and if you're a singer, you know who you are. I don't even like the theme song. No, I like the theme song, I like it, I like it. I'll answer it. You've got to bear in mind that the vast majority of I'm going to say younger people, anyone in the sort of four ways I'm the law, I'm the law. I never even heard of state of the public press. I don't mean anything to them. Should they still?

Linzi:

be, doing this they ought to and the law. I never even heard of Staten Island public press it doesn't mean anything to them?

Mark:

No, I guess not. Should they still be doing this?

Linzi:

They ought to.

Mark:

Would you be interested in a little book thing? No, and you're in that older category of the gym.

Linzi:

How dare you say that? How?

Mark:

dare you, I went to the 18th, 13th. I'm in my 30s.

Linzi:

I'm not kidding myself. I'm in my third set. I'm in my third set.

Mark:

Yeah.

Linzi:

I upset people when they realise that I'm not in my third set.

Mark:

Well, they'll be fine, I'm sure. So I'm interested in terms of do you if anyone watching or listening to this do you feel that that is something that Princess Shunt and Team Cruise is getting again more and more popular?

Linzi:

Yeah, okay, okay.

Mark:

I'll show you something. There's a second piece within Princess. They've just announced a wild accelerator program.

Linzi:

Okay. But it's only running for a short period of time, oh so you have to book all the accessible no, which is called Sail time.

Mark:

Oh, so you have to book in order to sort of double up.

Linzi:

No.

Mark:

Which is called Sale. Oh jeez, so guess, sailing on cruise Is the embark between the 1st of August. Yeah, you've got pre-booked. No, you can be pre-booked on it. Oh, okay. So that's fine, but you need to be sailed between 1st of August and December 1st 2024, so December the 1st 2024, so it's only a short window and if you need to have taken Princess Fuzz or Princess Premier, you'll earn double cruise credit, accelerating your growth versus the next tier.

Linzi:

Okay, flip up with that.

Mark:

What do you think? Is that something that you'd like to see extend beyond this? Because if you think we'll fall off out of here, we've got much on Princess, all the stuff Princess Premier did, so it's only our watch on Princess, all the step-princesses coming, so I don't accelerate our steps, let us work. Ruby. At the time of recording.

Linzi:

I don't like it when organisations introduce I can't say it because I'm that annoyed an offer that then is only for a very small portion of their customers. I always thought it's disingenuous. It's just to generate new stories. It's like, oh well, invent this thing and then it's only for a very small group of people. I don't like it.

Mark:

Well, I mean that's those. If Fibre took place from the 1st of June, the points that we got on this one would have got us up to platinum.

Linzi:

Yeah, but it's like, oh, we're not getting numbers that we need or we want for this.

Mark:

Oh, we could be better off simply status matching.

Linzi:

Just status match, just status match. Do that. Do that, thank you, I shall do. Do that, thank you, I shall do these after work. I have to leave this. I'm so angry. I'm not angry, just stay as much. All crews I have, just stay as much.

Mark:

I'm with you on that. I feel that all crews should stay as much, because it encourages you to continue your time the more you cruise with a single one. We've got friends who've only pretty much sailed on P&R or all the sailing on Royal Calgary and he missed that in the last fortune. It's been like we get all our loyalty bonuses, yeah that's the thing, and yeah, there's a reason that they're good at them. At supermarkets like Sainsbury's, they can choose the next guy for the reason of getting you to go back there.

Linzi:

We like a test club A test club. Right, okay, okay, okay.

Mark:

But it's the king of me from now on. But say that the final news story. There is no way you can get angry at a story, so in trial it's left to be a little longer. It's a cross-office here.

Linzi:

I can't tell much.

Mark:

So I'm going to Cruise Lines and I'm not interested. If you're just interested in Vernalism, this one seems a while. I went to Cruise Lines and you might see them. Okay, they're not completely that I sell with no, and it's an eight day Hudson River. So, yeah, as in New York, yeah, so We've simply Found some Other places Somewhere. Yes, we like New York.

Linzi:

Yes.

Mark:

This one is A sailing Mantra from New York. It's called Summer Classic, so I'm always Taking a break In summer, but it's From the Couch and River Valley Goes up to Castiel, where Holloway Kingston Hyde Goes up to the castle when Holly Cane's doing A hard part At this point, and so it's quite cultural Sleepy Hollow, sleepy Hollow.

Linzi:

Oh, I'd like to go To Sleepy Hollow.

Mark:

Well, I saw that when the Exit was called out A few days ago. Oh wow, that sounds. That sounds really Culturally Enriching, quite historical, and I like that kind of I think, if I remember right and I really may be remembering this one, but I think it also did an overnight in New York as part of that, but I may be wrong on that, but it were places that I fancied going over. I had not always seen all that, but you never necessarily can send a holiday to that.

Linzi:

No, I like it, they may proceed.

Mark:

Do you approve that they may proceed? We've got Lindsay's permission to proceed with banking. Thank you. Well, that brings us up to the end of episode 10.

Linzi:

Wow.

Mark:

I can't believe it. I know we didn't touch that. I can't believe we've got episode 10 all in it. Don't worry, see you again soon. I'm not Well. Thanks a lot. Well, that's the end of this particular one. Well, cheers, darling cheers, oh, I like that, thank you. Thank you for the last kiss. You're a boss, you're a slave.

Linzi:

I love you, thank you. Bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye.
