Ever wondered whether a cruise vacation trumps a stay at Disney World? Join us, Linzi and Mark, as we unpack the suitcases of our travel experiences and weigh anchor on the debate of sea versus land getaways. Our latest chat floats through the ease of cruising—you know, waking up in new ports without the headache of packing and repacking—and contrasts it with our well-trodden holiday path to the 'Most Magical Place on Earth'. We dive into a treasure chest of memories, from a potent Ouzo mix-up to the anticipation of our Athens adventure, injecting our sea stories with personal quirks like Linzi’ loathing for lounging too long in the sun.

Cruising through our conversation, we sail past the cookie-cutter vacation and into the waters of personal preference. With a nod to the varied vibes of cruise lines, from Carnival's party waves to Holland America's sophisticated sails, we chart the course for finding that dream holiday fit. But don't think we're anchored to the ocean; we acknowledge the siren call of cultural treasures too, like the scenic train to Machu Picchu, proving that our hearts can be lured away by a land that promises unique experiences.

And for those craving a bit of thematic fun on the open sea, we've got you covered. Imagine the razzle-dazzle of a Eurovision-themed cruise, complete with viewing parties and singalongs. But why stop at pop? We beam into the idea of a Star Trek cruise, musing over the joy of dressing up and immersing ourselves in another world. So, if you're ready for a spirited voyage through the highs and hilarity of themed cruising, pull up an anchor and join us for a journey like no other. Cheers to another round of adventure—and remember, watch those 'rules' of drinking!

Cheers, and have a lovely day
Linzi & Mark

Linzi:

Welcome to episode 3 of the Suite Natured Cruise Cast. Hi, I'm Linz. As always, I'm joined by Marky.

Mark:

Hello.

Linzi:

Hello, and today we're talking why we prefer cruise holidays to land based holidays. And now some mood music. I can't let you pick music.

Mark:

See, that's what happened when you leave me alone to pick music.

Linzi:

The brief was adventure.

Mark:

Yeah, but everything adventure sounded like Pirates of the Caribbean and I was like yeah. I kind of like it, oh dear. Anyway, welcome to episode 3. Oh today we're, as you said during the intro, before that lovely music.

Linzi:

We please stop doing that. Oh no, have you? Have you some book? Oh no, it's not, it's Uso, because we're off to other.

Mark:

Athens.

Linzi:

Athens very soon.

Mark:

That's quite strong. That seems like a much better idea about 10 minutes ago.

Linzi:

What do we think?

Mark:

That's a bit heavy. For what Is it? Well, we're recording this Monday night.

Linzi:

Monday night that seems very heavy.

Mark:

Anyway back to what we were, as usual. We've got a topic of the episode oh, we're so professional and we've also got some news which you, as usual, don't know what it is. I'm just bringing that on you.

Linzi:

Thank you.

Mark:

And we'll have a chat and our thoughts on that as well. But first off topic of this particular one yes, Is why we prefer cruises to land based holidays. And we do get asked that quite a lot Would we ever go on a normal? Normal in quotation marks.

Linzi:

There's no normal. Normal does not exist.

Mark:

Vacation. Would we go on a holiday?

Linzi:

Like a beach holiday.

Mark:

Yeah, and the reality is we've been on them.

Linzi:

We have been on them. I'm not a sunbunny.

Mark:

No, you've never been one to want to lie on the beach and sort of absorb the rage. Your skin's not designed for.

Linzi:

Oh, we're going down that rabbit hole. No.

Mark:

No, you're definitely not designed for lying on a beach. No, you like lying by a pool with a cocktail.

Linzi:

But generally, Inside Under an umbrella, like a prop, a parasol. I mean, I've even created, fashioned my own cover-up. Do you remember when we were in Australia and I made? I do remember. I had to completely forgot about that A beach cover-up and I dipped it in the pool.

Mark:

That was when we went to the sort of water park from the place near Perth, wasn't?

Linzi:

it. Yep, I completely forgot about that, and then I created my own tent, which I then sounder. But I'm not a sunbunny. You walk like one mother. So we've established I'm not a sunbed.

Mark:

But there are lots more land-based holidays than you can reach, there is yeah. And if we go back to sort of our very first cruise and we'll talk about that on a future episode where we'll get into a little bit more. But we ended up going on that cruise because we were meeting family when they were Walt Disney World in Orlando.

Linzi:

Yeah, because we did that, we had perpetual Christmas.

Mark:

Yeah, we kept going back at Christmas for quite a few years, didn't we?

Linzi:

Oh yes.

Mark:

As far as we were concerned, Ponsettas were the national flower.

Linzi:

Florida.

Mark:

Because that's all we ever saw, wasn't?

Linzi:

it Ponsettas trees yeah.

Mark:

But what is it that you prefer as a cruise holiday compared to a land one?

Linzi:

I like unpacking once. I like the different destinations. I like that I can go for an afternoon nap with Aircon.

Mark:

But you can do that on a land-based as well.

Linzi:

Yes, but I like it because in the middle of the day, if we were in Disney World and then anyone has been to a theme park when you've had lunch and it gets really warm and really busy, you just want to decompress and take yourself out of it and that's what I like about cruise holidays.

Mark:

You can do that.

Linzi:

You can take some time and then get back into whether it's trivia or a show or whatever activity you pull. But you can take some time for yourself and I like that.

Mark:

Yeah, I definitely think a cruise holiday is one that lets you take yourself out of it easier and then get back into it. Those are so strong, aren't they?

Linzi:

Why, why?

Mark:

did we think you picked it, not me?

Linzi:

But it's theme, we're going away.

Mark:

It is theme, but I've kind of lost my train of thought. Sorry, it's the thought of the Uso and Athens that it just didn't gel and it's all I've got to drink in front of me.

Linzi:

So for the next 30 minutes we were talking about lamb-based cruises. Yes, we were talking about lamb-based cruises.

Mark:

You can take yourself out of it a lot easier on the cruise and then come back into it, maybe easier than lamb. But I'm not 100% because if you look at sort of your all-inclusive time-resort holidays, which we've also done. Yeah, those ones I feel that you can sort of take yourself out of just as easy.

Linzi:

Oh, I don't know. There's just something about that you're moving, but you're staying still. It's so profound, isn't it?

Mark:

That's very profound for a Monday night. I have to say one of my favourite things personally about it, and you've pitched on it stop drinking the Uso, then you're sitting there sipping it and then pulling the face. One of my favourite things about a cruise holiday is the fact that you can wake up in a different destination every day. Now, granted, if you're doing transatlantic, it's just a different part of the sea, but I'm making a general point that you can do lanterns, but they always, to me personally, seem a lot more work. I don't have to do any work to get to the next port, not to the player.

Linzi:

snow.

Mark:

Whereas if you're doing a lantern, you've got to get on a bus, you've got to get on a cow, you've got to get on a plane or train, you've got to get on something to get you there. The journey is part of the destination, or something deeper, meaningful like that, but it's that sort of. There's just something so unique about waking up, pulling up in the curtains and seeing the new destination that wasn't there the night before, sitting out on the balcony cruising somewhere.

Linzi:

Just yeah, I know what you're saying.

Mark:

But for me that is definitely one of the big things. Another one we are doing a future podcast on this, because it was suggested to us as well is when it comes to a sort of value for money it.

Linzi:

She knows, because that is all now.

Mark:

When it comes to value for money, if you look at a cruise compared to a land based, on a light for, like when you've added all your food in when you've had your drinks in, you've had your 7A, etc. Cruising generally, even though it's a lot more expensive than it used to be, is still much better value for money on a light for like basis.

Linzi:

It depends what you like for liking.

Mark:

Well, like entertainment, food, drinks. You mentioned Disney a couple of times earlier, so let's take that as an example. It's pretty much impossible for two people to go for a meal in Disney and it not cost at least $100.

Mark:

We talked about it we have, and I mean it can go for breakfast, you can go for lunch, you can go for dinner at Disney minimum $100. Now, yeah, of course you can go get a hot dog, you can go get a snack, but I'm on about a sit down meal, whereas on a cruise ship if you want a three course meal three times a day or more, then you can do that. If you just look at that from a value perspective, then over the course of a week that's $2,100 that you would spend on food in Disney, on a light for, like, if you had those three meals.

Linzi:

We've judged by it, but I know what you're saying. I also feel that it's a very similar mindset on the cruise ship as well.

Mark:

What Between passengers?

Linzi:

Yeah, by passengers, and everybody's just having a lovely time.

Mark:

Yeah, I mean it depends us to the cruise ship that you're on. I guess in terms of what that mindset is, yeah, yeah. If you're on sort of a more party-ish type cruise like Carnival or Caribbean Virgin, that's going to be more upbeat. If you're on something like Holland America or QNAD, it's going to be a bit classy, maybe a bit more music forecast. If you're on something like Herty Groups or something, it's going to be more expedition.

Linzi:

Yeah.

Mark:

So I think the people that are on there because it's like-minded tends to be going on those cruise ships because that's what they're looking for yeah, I guess yeah. The exception being that if it's your first cruise, then you might not know that. No, granted, you might watch lots of YouTube videos or listen to other podcasts, but until you've actually been on them, you don't know whether it's going to be popular for you.

Linzi:

Yeah, I guess, but we've you know, we never say never, so it's not like we'll never go on do a land-based holiday.

Mark:

Because we will. I mean, we were genuinely talking about it last night, weren't we?

Linzi:

When I was looking at um. So when we got to Alaska, I'd cost it what it would be to bundle it with their land-based tour as well, and it was doubling the cost of-.

Mark:

But not for double the duration.

Linzi:

Not for double the- oh my goodness that. Oh. So Not for double the duration, but when we watch the videos and things because of course we research everything, like you do about them when we're booking something we didn't feel when we watch the videos and we watched the lodge tours and things, so it felt that-. It didn't seem as good as the holiday family did it, we could have got another cruise out of.

Mark:

Southampton. Well, that's kind of what we then said. It's like well do we want to stay in? You know, not an equivalent from I'm trying to be diplomatic not an equivalent sort of level of comfort. Yeah, I know what you're saying that you would get in there To what we were going to get on the cruise ship.

Mark:

Or take that money and go on another cruise and it would cost exactly the same but would get longer and more comfort. And that again comes back to you know, would we ever do a land-based holiday compared to just a cruise? Well, yeah, absolutely. I really do want to go back to Disney World again. Since what five years since we've been there, it's a while yeah.

Mark:

They've opened a load of new attractions. Universal Studios has got its new park-up named next year, I think, I think it might Epic Universe. So there's a lot of stuff like that I want to do. I really would like to do a really relaxing all-inclusive resort, but not one where you have to lie on a beach. No, I mean to Not the Maldives. That's not your idea of fun, is it?

Linzi:

No, I mean no people say, well, they'd love to go there, to the Maldives.

Mark:

And you don't like to go swimming in the sea and you don't like lying on the beach for a long period of time no, and I don't like sand. So really, a beach holiday is not your ideal destination. Is that what we're saying?

Linzi:

I'm going to lose a lot of friends here. I feel I'm not.

Mark:

No, I'm just, you're not a beach bunny, are you?

Linzi:

I'm not a beach bunny. I'm not a beach bunny.

Mark:

So if we were going to do a land-based one today? So it's not a theme park.

Linzi:

Okay.

Mark:

And it's not one that we've done before. Obviously, it's not going to be a beach holiday. No, what would be the one that you feel would convince you to do that over cruise, and why?

Linzi:

A river cruise no over.

Mark:

Oh, is a river cruise that doesn't count as a land cruise. That's cheating. So what would be the land holiday that would persuade you to do that?

Linzi:

over cruise. There's no theme parks or anything like that. There's no theme parks.

Mark:

So it's not one we've been to before. You could say Disneyland, tokyo. I would allow that. Well, no, I don't want to say.

Linzi:

Disneyland Tokyo, because that's cheating. Oh, I'd like to go to Peru.

Mark:

Oh, I would allow that.

Linzi:

That's another drink.

Mark:

Is that what that means? Mm-hmm, is that your warning that you've not had a drink?

Linzi:

Yeah, how about. Peru, peru, machu Picchu.

Mark:

Would you go on the train?

Linzi:

Oh yes, the Belmond and drink Cusco Cucco Drink what. Jagozo Cusco Sa Cusco. Somebody will tell me. Please tell me, uh, sours, and you go on a fancy train.

Mark:

So it's a Belmond-like or an express type, right?

Linzi:

Yes, I think I've watched a video on that one. I have watched quite a few videos, okay.

Mark:

So that would be the one that would persuade you to go to Peru. For the land-based holiday. So you'd end up wanting to do something we just talked about there, which is a land tour. You're not going to a destination, You're going to a country and then travelling the country.

Linzi:

But the way I'd like to get there is and I think Holland and America do this is they start in Florida and they go through the Panama Canal and then down to Peru. That's how I'd like to get there. So I know we have to fly to Florida and then from there we'd then do a land tour.

Mark:

So are you cheating there, johnson, what mine is, sir.

Linzi:

Go on.

Mark:

So I think you're thinking I'm going to say Japan.

Linzi:

No, I'm not going to say Japan. I think you're going to say somewhere like Vietnam or Singapore.

Mark:

No, I'd be in Singapore. I do love Singapore. I would go to Singapore tomorrow, albeit that would then throw out our planned excursion this week. So we can't go to Singapore tomorrow, forget that. I would really like to do a US road trip.

Linzi:

Really.

Mark:

Yeah, I'd like to start off up somewhere near Seattle. Drive down to San Diego, so coming straight down there.

Linzi:

That's a long way.

Mark:

I'm not in one day, I'm not planning on doing this overnight. There'll be stops at like San Francisco, napa Valley. Go get some wine, then go explore sort of Los Angeles area. Go down to San Diego. You can see a height of Bob and Holly.

Linzi:

And then drive across. Oh, this is too long.

Mark:

We didn't say there were restrictions to this Over to the side and sort of end up in New York, go up to the city of Chicago.

Linzi:

No, that's about three holidays, that is.

Mark:

But it'd be a good holiday. I would like that one that persuaded me not to do a cruise.

Linzi:

I always fancy doing the LA to Las Vegas, where you drive to Las Vegas as it's getting to sunset.

Mark:

And you can see the streets. Yeah, that would be quite good, I'd like that.

Linzi:

I see where you're coming from. I would not have fun on that holiday.

Mark:

What my road trip.

Linzi:

It's too long.

Mark:

What about the wine?

Linzi:

I'd like to stay somewhere really nice and do it and probably have a private jet.

Mark:

Yeah, your whole. Let's just book a cruise Cruise seems like a much better for that. But yeah, it's going back to the question of why a cruise over a lamb based holiday.

Linzi:

Is the only one we can agree on.

Mark:

Yeah.

Linzi:

What about the Disney?

Mark:

World. Yeah, it takes pretty much every box. We know that we're going to get some great food, we know we're going to get plenty of good cocktails, we know we're going to see some great entertainment and we know we're going to get a lot of time to relax as well. Yes, I like that, just being able to chill out. When we did airpaks not longer when we did Transatlantic there were quite a few days where we were getting up into. When it was Sea Day, we were getting up into the Salamian pool and I honestly I'm not exaggerating this, you'll back me up for 6am, yep, and we'd leave there about 4pm and we would have done practically nothing all day. Maybe get a little swim.

Linzi:

Have a swim in a hot tub.

Mark:

Yeah, have a little bike to read.

Linzi:

Have a read.

Mark:

Read. Listen to a book, audio book, not listening to you. Read a book. You could read a book.

Linzi:

I'd like it. You don't have to explain.

Mark:

And then just chill out and it's such a nice way to spend your time. You don't feel that there's that pressure to go do anything.

Linzi:

No, we enjoy that. I like that.

Mark:

Yeah. So for me, one, we agree on that, we both want to do it, which is a big plus, and two, we get to have that balance of full steam ahead not pun intended, and being able to relax as well, yes.

Mark:

And there's not that many other holidays that we've managed to find so far. I'm sure there are plenty there is, there's just not many that we've had. But let us know in the comments what your favorite land hold is if you're not on a cruise, and what would persuade you to not go on a cruise and do a land one instead of Vaxxverse.

Linzi:

Yes.

Mark:

Anyway, let's go on to some news.

Linzi:

Oh no.

Mark:

So we've got three news stories. As usual, one of them's in two parts. You keep drinking the news. I'll have a little drink just to balance it.

Linzi:

I'm preparing myself for your news after you tune.

Mark:

Why would my news and my tune be related?

Linzi:

Okay, hit me.

Mark:

Okay, so the first bit of news that we just want to have a talk about is the Royal Caribbean for 2024 and 2025 is one of the official sponsors of your region.

Linzi:

I like this, you like this, I do like this.

Mark:

And it's decided this year. They haven't announced anything for 25 yet, so it's only 2024. Yeah, and I'm assuming because they're sponsoring it in 24 and 25, they probably are going to do something in 25 if they're popular. Yeah, they're doing four dedicated Eurovision cruises. I knew this, I know that's what we're talking about and they are going on Anthem of the Seas, which is just doing two nights out of South. Hampton on Eurovision night, which I think is a great one?

Linzi:

Oh, that would be amazing.

Mark:

Explore of the Seas, which is doing seven nights from the 11th of May out of Barcelona. Okay, then we've got two of the new worships. A new worship, odyssey of the Seas, that's doing 12 nights from the fifth of May Wow. And then Oasis, one of my favorite ever shapes, is doing seven nights on the fifth of May, out of Barcelona again. So you've got two of them going out of Barcelona, one going out of Rome and one going out of Rome. So it's within Europe. Yes, it makes sense that that's where they are, but on the cruise it's not like a normal themed cruise where that's all that's going on. They're having viewing parties on the Eurovision final night and I would guess on, if you're on some of the longer ones, such as Odyssey and Oasis, the public of the semi-finals on there as well, because they're in the week running up to them.

Mark:

Love them, I love them, they're often more entertaining. You get some of the ones that don't get through at the final for very obvious reasons. So they're having the viewing parties, but they're also having themed cocktails that they're making just for those cruises that are custom made Karaoke. Oh no, quizzies.

Linzi:

Oh, I like that.

Mark:

But all the karaoke will be Eurovision songs.

Linzi:

I love that.

Mark:

What would be if, granted, we only do karaoke generally in the private cubicle where very few people can hear us, such as on Virgin yes, To pick a Eurovision karaoke song, what would you pick?

Linzi:

Save all your kisses for me. How are we going to say that. You see, that's why we're together.

Mark:

It is I'm not going to do it on it.

Linzi:

I nearly went into it. Don't do it.

Mark:

But I think it's such a great idea. We've talked about sort of doing a themed cruise for a while. You know, we've looked at the Star Trek, we've looked at 80s ones and 90s music ones that the lights in Marella do, and I'm becoming increasingly tempted to book one of those. What are we doing? The Star Trek one? We both said we'll just be so fun. My only concern with doing that is we are both big Star Trek and Star Wars fans. But I don't know, if we're that big and not to say that it's not that we don't enjoy it the level of sort of knowledge that people have on them. I definitely wouldn't end up in a quiz.

Mark:

Oh goodness no, but it's the costumes that they make at home. I ain't got the talent to do that.

Linzi:

No, I was looking at the masquerade ball pictures because when we were cancelled on some princess, we looked to see what cruises were going out.

Mark:

The Star Trek were going out, we could have still got on it. It was, but it was $3,300 per person, but that won literally like a couple of weeks before we do it to go out. So we're going with the last minute on that, but then it cost us another £1,000 each to get a costume, because we're not talented enough to make them ourselves. But I do really like the idea of doing one of these themed cruises.

Linzi:

You're a vision one.

Mark:

The other vision one.

Linzi:

I don't have to book a day off work for the little two night.

Mark:

For the two night. Yeah, but it'd be very, very tempting.

Linzi:

I think we should cost it after this.

Mark:

Which after this episode these episodes are dangerous the lead in the cruising. Anyway, I thought I really interesting. I do hope that it's successful. I imagine the two night anthem of the season one will be a riot Because that is just for your vision night People getting on it having a laugh, getting back off.

Linzi:

No, I think it's two nights. I think it's the Friday, saturday.

Mark:

Yeah, it's the two nights for your vision. It's not that you want it for a longer period.

Mark:

It will be just a yo-vision party. I think that'll be a lot of fun, yeah, but I hope it's successful. So they're doing 25 as well. It seems like such a good fix. It's pulling together everyone from all those countries, which is what you get on cruise lines anyway, and it's music, which is heavily featured on every single cruise line, and it's about having a good time. Yeah, I know, perfect fit. Well done, roy Cabin. I'd be really interested to see what that's like.

Mark:

Next up, ambassador. Ambassador, they have announced a partnership with Help for Heroes, which is a UK Armed Forces and Veterans Charity, and they're looking to raise money, but they're also going to be running events, getting people on there to do talks and running competitions. So they thought that we're, rather than just saying this is our charity of choice. To get so involved To bring it in and help people to understand why they're raising money and have people tell their stories. I think that sounds a great idea?

Linzi:

Yeah, definitely, and then?

Mark:

it's relevant. Yeah, I'm fairly surprised that I've not come across, and there may well be one of the US ones maybe Carnival or Royal that have done that in the past, but it's not one that I'm familiar with. I'm used to pulling that face of that. Who's that? I like that, david. The thing is, before we came on air on this, lindsay said to me oh, bring the full bottle through. I might want to top up For people who are watching the video. There is now a bottle. Will you try to make a bottle sound with it? Yeah, you can put it back down now. Are you having another glass?

Linzi:

No.

Mark:

But I am fairly surprised that that's the first time that I've come across it where they're doing sort of enrichment talks and stuff with it. So well done. But that brings me to the second part of the news story. Yeah, that's one of my two parts and it's Ambassador who are doing two specific D-day cruises. Oh, I saw this.

Linzi:

I thought you were going to tell me about the greatest hits cruise that's happened in October.

Mark:

Well, that won't be as connected to that first start.

Linzi:

I guess it wouldn't no.

Mark:

We can come on to the greatest hits after this.

Linzi:

No, it's okay, I feel a bit stupid now.

Mark:

So what they're doing this year is the 80th anniversary of the D-day landings in Normandy.

Linzi:

Yeah.

Mark:

So they're doing two cruises one on Ambition and one on Ambience there are two ships at the moment, the one going out of Bristol, yeah, and I can't remember the day, I think one was doing six days and one 12 or 13 days, I forget the thing, but they're doing what they're doing with the Heroes 1, but also, I guess, like well, with the Ovidian, a series of themed events, things on board. They are trying to encourage people who were there, obviously, with each passing year there's a series of events that are going on.

Mark:

So they're doing the 80 years ago To come on that. But one of the bits that I thought were really nice that they're doing is that they're anchoring off the five beaches, wow. Okay, running the sermon in, and so far, how to say it? Word, just really nice tribute, tribute to and again, I hope it's very popular.

Mark:

It's not that they can do that every year no, no, I know, I know you say, and just to go back to your other one, they are also doing a great hits radio, which is a radio station in the UK but it's a lot of former radio 2 DJs well, radio one originally radio one DJ. So we came radio 2, which is the national radio in the UK, and then on the great six, which are really popular radio.

Linzi:

I'm still convinced. I know what the morning all the mystery song is oh morning, yeah the morning mystery song yeah, I'm still, I know, I'm convinced, I know what it is and it ain't gone yet do you want to say what it is, what you think it is now?

Mark:

I'm gonna look so silly well, say what you think it is so, at the time that we're recording this, it's the 11th yes 11th of March and you think the song is.

Linzi:

I think it's mid-year if I was.

Mark:

I think that's what the song is so we'll be able to look back in the future I'm so wrong and see if you're right and it'll turn out was Frankie goes no, it's not fresh.

Linzi:

No, it wasn't, it's not that so I've not heard it, sorry yeah, so wrong, I can't play this game.

Mark:

And yeah, again, more themed cruise is the cruise lines, so this the obvious the theme there's a theme and then the final story yes, less of a theme, more of people morning no yeah, it's true. So silver Nova, which is Silver Seas newish ship, which we were so not getting on no, we weren't. We're going on as been delayed, coming back in and to I think it's my oh, because of the photo shoot yeah, because all Caribbean group pulling all three of their new ships.

Linzi:

I kind of disease and I think that's the problem I didn't say it wasn't inappropriate.

Mark:

I'm the icon of the seas, celebrity sent and silver Nova we have a picture they're pulling them all close together, so they're really close. They're gonna get some drones flying and test some footage which will look fantastic. That celebrity, a scent and icon of the seas, route to a due to sell really near each other anywhere, silver Nova was. So they're having silver Nova diver. So it's the close, relatively speaking, the close. They're within like a couple hundred mile, yeah, and so they haven't a diver. They were due to come back in for 7 am.

Linzi:

I know this.

Mark:

I know this and they're now not getting in until 11.

Mark:

I thought it was even 12 it's 11 that we're doing okay, but obviously that's if they want time which and then you got clearance then you gotta clear and you gotta get off the ship and you gotta get to where you going. Now, for a lot of people they had sort of early each morning flies 11 o'clock or 12 o'clock, and now we're not getting, can't get on them. And if they didn't book them through silver seas at the time, then as far as they're concerned it's kind of no, I can't see that they'll be compensated.

Mark:

I'm sure I think they will well, the story as it sits at the moment on the. Facebook group where people are on the ship. I'm not saying that they're not now, if they're not. It seems deeply. I'm not having that so poor judge, I'm having more loser and, from our point of view, if that might mean to us, why did?

Mark:

it lose her when you fly back to the UK. Normally we have quite a late flight is anywhere between 6 and 10 pm. We would appreciate. We'd have been quite happy with it, so I would have rather spent an extra four or five hours on a really fancy ship than in Miami Airport. It's much more of an attractive thing, but if I were gonna miss my plane I maybe wouldn't have found it quite as amusing no and relaxing.

Mark:

Definitely not as relaxing. So yeah, when I said man, I won't mean in that it wasn't without reason. It seemed to I get them doing it because how often are they gonna have the three ships close enough to each other? It's best to get that sort of publicity show. That is all it is okay, can't do that they won't they could do it, probably with AI. They could do a composite where the piece of multi-gathered. I'm sure there'd have been other ways that they could have done it.

Linzi:

Well, it's quite trendy now. I'm not going down that.

Mark:

I'm not going down that way no, there's been some interesting news in the last 20 hours well, I like being it, like living in this country yeah, what will I need you publish on Photoshop and for anyone listening to this. Again, that was Lindsay enjoying a taste of booze my tongue is sparkling.

Mark:

I don't know what that means well, they mean to keep going in for you, so, even though every time you taste it, you anyway. That brings us to the end of another podcast, and I know that you're desperate to get back into the rocks.

Linzi:

I'm not drinking.

Mark:

I'm drinking well if you think you've got to drink, that's the rule cheers.

Linzi:

Thank you for listening cheers everyone.
